(More customer reviews)My wife over-taxed our stand mixer. A little online research revealed that the gear was probably stripped. Using a screwdriver, I was able to get to the gear and confirmed this. For $15 and an hour of my time, I was able to easily replace the gear and get the stand mixer working again. Most people pay $100-$150 to have a repairman do it.
