(More customer reviews)I have baked for nearly 30 of my 41 years, and I have used a lot of hand mixers. This one by KitchenAid is a great partner to my KitchenAid stand mixer. I have used it for everything from cookie dough, to cream, to mashed (okay, whippped) potatoes. It has never failed me, I find it powerful enough for my purposes, and one thing that has not been mentioned in the other reviews is that this mixer is relatively quiet. Not silent, but quiet.For jobs that are really too small for the K45, this is ideal. Nicely balanced, easy to use. In short, a winner.
